These are low resolution 100dpi. Original images are 8X10 B&W paper prints made from 4X5 and 8X10 B&W negatives.

neg number 8286. From Brian Waite: is a Frayer-Miller race car that was one of three that raced in the 1906 Vanderbilt Cup. Interestingly, the driver of the car I am reconstructing, Ben Lawwell, had an older brother Frank Lawwell who was one of the three drivers for Frayer. The other drivers were Frayer himself and a guy named Belden. I believe this photo shows Frayer himself. I have other articles and photos of these cars from the period. Another interesting point is that Eddie Rickenbacker was a part of this group of racers well before his time in WW1 and later fame. He worked as a kid with this group and Oscar Lear, Frayer, Lawwell and others.

neg number (000-Triest Company): Open driver limousine, odd, opposed engine in front. Exposure ok.
